About

BC Adaptive Snowsports provides opportunities for individuals with physical and / or cognitive disabilities to get out skiing or snowboarding on the hills and mountains across British Columbia.  We do this in collaboration with an amazing group of adaptive snowsport clubs, who provide a wide range of lessons and programs to adapt to each participants’ abilities.  These lessons and programs are delivered by an army of volunteer instructors, trained by BC Adaptive Snowsports’ technical experts.

Together with our donors, funders and sponsors, BC Adaptive Snowsports actively removes barriers to participation.  Together, we are providers of adaptive snowsport equipment, advocates for accessibility, and supporters of BC para athlete development.  Under the BC Adaptive Snowsports’ portfolio, we serve as the provincial sport organization for Alpine Canada’s para-alpine ski team.

Our Vision

To provide everyone with the opportunity to experience snowsports.

Our Mission

To support adaptive snowsports clubs, volunteers, and participants in British Columbia through training, financial support, and advocacy.
