BCAS 2026 Club Conference
Courtenay, BC
We’re very excited to host our upcoming Club Leaders Conference in Courtenay, BC, in partnership with the Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Sports.
This conference will once again bring together adaptive snowsport leaders from across British Columbia for a collaborative and energizing weekend of learning, connection, and forward planning. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a strong and dedicated group of club leaders — passionate volunteers and professionals who go above and beyond to create inclusive, high-quality programming in their communities.
One of the most valued aspects of our Club Leaders Conference is the opportunity for leaders to connect with one another. These gatherings create space to openly share challenges, celebrate successes, exchange ideas, and learn from each other’s experiences. The camaraderie, honesty, and mutual support that develop over the weekend continue to strengthen adaptive snowsports across the province long after the event concludes.
Last year’s conference brought together leaders from 10 clubs across the province for a powerful and collaborative weekend. As part of the legacy of the Invictus Games, we were proud to distribute seven sit skis and several Mobi Mats to clubs in attendance, directly increasing accessibility and programming capacity in their communities. We were also fortunate to welcome Katlyn from Jumpstart and Tom Berekoff, who shared practical guidance on grant writing and fundraising strategies — providing clubs with tangible tools and renewed confidence to support sustainable growth.
We look forward to building on that momentum in Courtenay as we continue working together to enhance the adaptive snowsport experience throughout British Columbia. Stay tuned for registration details and the full agenda coming soon.
