Dear Members,
At BC Adaptive Snowsports, we are committed to removing barriers and creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities to enjoy the thrill of skiing and snowboarding. As we continue to expand and grow our impact, we’re seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors.
We currently have two volunteer board opportunities for General Directors. Help guide the overall strategic direction of BC Adaptive Snowsports, working alongside fellow board members and staff to further our mission of inclusivity and accessibility in adaptive snowsports.
Why Join Our Board?
Make an Impact: Your leadership will help ensure that individuals with
disabilities have access to the adaptive snowsport programs they need.
Be Part of a Community: Work alongside an incredible team of
volunteers, donors, funders, and staff who are passionate about
accessibility and inclusivity in sport.
Grow Professionally: Build relationships with leaders in the
non-profit sector, enhance your strategic and financial governance skills,
and gain experience supporting a dynamic and growing organization.
How to Apply: If you are interested in applying for one of these roles, we would love to hear from you! Please send your statement of interest and resume to info@bcadaptive.com.
In your statement, please share why you’re passionate about adaptive snowsports
and how your skills and experience can contribute to BC Adaptive Snowsports’ board. Ideally, we are seeking board members with experience in governance, human resources, law, finance, social media and/or fundraising.
Deadline for Applications: We are accepting applications until October 15th, 2026 with applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
Thank you for your continued support of BC Adaptive Snowsports. We are excited to welcome new board members who share our vision and passion for accessible snowsports across British Columbia. If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to reach out to us at info@bcadaptive.com.
Warm regards,
BC Adaptive Snowsports
