BC Adaptive Snowsports Announces New ED

BC Adaptive Snowsports is thrilled to introduce BCAS’s new Executive Director, Sandra Haziza, who will be joining our team as of September 5th. Sandra brings extensive experience in the ski world, having held key roles at Alpine Canada Alpin and Freestyle Canada. At Alpine Canada Alpin, she directed the planning and execution of a range of sanctioned events, from U16 to World Cup levels, managing budgets exceeding $2M and coordinating large volunteer teams. As the Director of Business Operations and Partnerships at Freestyle Canada, she developed and implemented strategies that significantly enhanced community engagement and secured multi-year partnerships with top international brands. Additionally, Sandra is an avid skier, which further deepens her connection to our mission and community.

Sandra’s solid educational foundation includes a Certificate in Women’s Leadership from Yale School of Management, a Sport Leadership Designation from Sport For Life, and certifications in social media and communications. These qualifications, combined with her proven leadership skills and strategic vision, make her well-equipped to drive our strategic initiatives and foster organizational growth. We are confident that her passion and drive for impactful results will significantly advance our mission and goals.
