Ramp it Up Canada!
The ONLY accessible event of its kind is launching in Vancouver this April!
Youth from across Canada will gather here for this unique event.
Ramp it Up will bring Canadian youth living with a disability together to take action to promote a future that is accessible, inclusive and equitable. An event that will provide opportunities to embrace the power of sport, share in advocacy strategies and network with leaders from across Canada. Not only will we showcase Canada’s most beautiful city, we will also lead the way in making our city the most accessible city in the world by hosting a first of its kind accessibility event!
With our Federal and Provincial partners, corporate supporters and media sponsors we will take action to make our communities accessible for all! The spring of 2024 we will challenge everyone to make a difference. To promote a culture of acceptance that starts with each one of us – we ALL need to RAMP IT UP!
Participants will have the opportunity to select their own program and itinerary of workshops (that includes demonstrations of various snow sports as well as other adaptive sports).
This will allow youth to select the ones that they most identify with, exchange with other youth with the same disability and that will meet their needs as Canadian snowsport athletes. The adaptive activities, subject matter experts and networking activities will engage and promote similarities not differences.
